Social Media Marketing Terms

Last updated: 09/27/2026

These terms apply to the Dox Studio Social Media Marketing plans: Active Presence, Local Boost and Pro Brand. They add to our Terms of Service; if the two say different things, these terms apply to Social Media plans. In these terms, “we” means Dox Studio LLC and “you” means the business that signs up for a plan.

Under each section there’s a short summary in plain words to help you read it. The full text is what counts.

1. Accepting these terms

By checking the box and paying on our checkout page, or by signing up any other way we offer, you accept these terms and our Terms of Service on behalf of your business, and you confirm you’re authorized to do so.

In plain words: Checking the box when you pay means you agree to these terms.

2. What your plan includes

Your plan includes what our Social Media Marketing page lists for it on the day you sign up: posts, stories, content sessions, social networks and designs, plus comment replies and ads management on Local Boost and Pro Brand. Your ad budget and direct messages are not included, and neither is anything the page doesn’t list. Posts, stories, designs and sessions you don’t use in a month don’t carry over to the next one.

In plain words: You get what your plan lists. What you don’t use in a month doesn’t roll over.

3. Billing and start date

Plans are billed monthly, in advance and in U.S. dollars, on the same day of the month as your first payment, until you cancel. Your service starts the day you pay: the setup week (connecting your accounts, building your brand kit and scheduling your first session) is part of your first month.

In plain words: You pay on the same date each month, and work starts the day you sign up.

4. Cancel anytime

You can cancel anytime from the Subscriptions section of your client portal at portal.doxstudio.com, or by writing to [email protected]. Your plan stays active until the end of the month you already paid for, we deliver that month in full, and you won’t be charged again. Until that date, you can undo the cancellation from the same place. We don’t refund partial months.

In plain words: Cancel whenever you want. You keep the month you paid for, and you won’t be charged again.

5. Refunds

Payments aren’t refundable. The exception is when something isn’t delivered because of us: if we don’t hold a session or don’t deliver a month’s content for reasons on our side, we’ll refund or credit that part.

In plain words: No refunds, unless we fail to deliver something.

6. Failed payments and disputes

If a payment fails and isn’t fixed within 7 days, we pause your service (no posting and no sessions) until it’s paid. If you have a problem with a charge, please talk to us before disputing it with your bank; we’ll sort it out faster. While a dispute is open, your service stays paused, and the content from that month doesn’t become yours until the charge is settled.

In plain words: If a payment fails, we pause. Talk to us before disputing a charge.

7. Content sessions

  • We schedule each session with you at least 7 days in advance.
  • You can move a session once a month at no cost with at least 48 hours’ notice. With less notice, or if no one is there to meet us, the session counts as done.
  • Sessions start and end at the agreed time, even if they start late on your side.
  • If we need to move a session, or the weather gets in the way, we’ll shoot indoors or reschedule at no cost. Other than that, sessions you don’t use don’t carry over.
  • Sessions are included anywhere in Palm Beach, Martin and Broward counties. Outside them, we’ll quote travel before booking.
  • You prepare the place, the products and the people, and you make sure we’re allowed to shoot there.
  • We deliver edited photos and videos. Raw files aren’t included.

In plain words: Book a week ahead, and move it once a month with 48 hours’ notice.

8. People on camera

You’re responsible for getting permission from every employee, customer or patient who appears in our photos and videos. We’ll give you a one-page release form. For minors, a parent or guardian must sign.

In plain words: Everyone who appears needs to agree, and we give you the form.

9. Approvals and changes

We send each month’s calendar in one link, where you can approve everything at once or ask for changes. If we don’t hear back within 3 business days, we publish as planned. Each piece includes one round of changes, two in your first month. Anything you approve, or had the chance to review, is your responsibility: we’ll fix a typo at no cost, but it isn’t refundable. Redoing a video that needs new footage counts as a session.

In plain words: If you don’t reply in 3 business days, we post as planned. One round of changes per piece.

10. Ads (Local Boost and Pro Brand)

Your ad budget isn’t included: you pay each platform directly with your own card. Local Boost covers ad budgets up to $1,500 a month and Pro Brand up to $4,000; above that, we’ll suggest one of our Ads plans. Your ad accounts belong to you. Platforms can reject or limit ads, especially in health and beauty, and we can’t guarantee results. For Google Ads, our fee is your plan price, your monthly report shows what Google charged you, and we’ll share your account ID and data whenever you ask.

In plain words: You pay the platforms directly, and your ad accounts are yours.

11. Unlimited design (Pro Brand)

Pro Brand includes unlimited graphic design, one request at a time: we start the next piece when you approve the previous one, and each usually takes 1 to 2 business days. It covers social media graphics, flyers, menus and digital banners. It doesn’t cover logos or brand identity, websites, printing, packaging, or video editing beyond your plan.

In plain words: As many designs as you need, one at a time.

12. Comment replies (Local Boost and Pro Brand)

We reply to comments on your posts Monday to Friday during business hours, usually within one business day. We never confirm that someone is a patient or a client, and we don’t discuss treatments, prices or complaints in public: we pass those to you. Direct messages stay with you.

In plain words: We answer comments on weekdays. Sensitive topics and direct messages stay with you.

13. Who owns the content

Once you’ve paid for the month in which we made it, every edited photo, video and design we create for your business is yours to keep, even if you leave. Stock photos and videos, music, fonts and templates are licensed, not owned: you can use them on your social media, but not resell them. We may show our work in our portfolio and on our social media unless you ask us not to by email.

In plain words: What we make for you is yours once it’s paid. We may show it unless you say no.

14. Your accounts and access

Your pages and accounts belong to you. You give us access as a partner on Meta, a manager of your Google Business Profile and a collaborator on TikTok; we don’t ask for passwords when there’s another way. We’re not responsible for suspensions, disconnections, lost access or changes made by the platforms. Posts that can’t go out because we lost access are rescheduled once access is back, and they aren’t refunded.

In plain words: Your accounts stay yours. Platform problems aren’t refunded.

15. Music

We use music cleared for business use, such as Meta’s Sound Collection, or music we’re licensed to use. Trending songs from the personal music library aren’t allowed on business accounts. If you want a specific song, you provide the license.

In plain words: We only use music businesses are allowed to use.

16. Health, beauty and what we publish about you

You review and are responsible for every claim we publish for you, including prices, promotions and the results of treatments or products. Before-and-after photos need the patient’s written authorization, which you keep. Please never send us patient information, such as names linked to treatments, records or appointments; if that’s ever needed, we’ll sign a Business Associate Agreement first. Reviews and testimonials must be real. We may decline to publish anything we believe is misleading or unlawful.

In plain words: You approve what we say about your results. No patient data, and only real reviews.

17. No guaranteed results

We work to grow your presence, but we don’t guarantee followers, reach, leads or sales, which depend on many things outside our control, including the platforms’ algorithms.

In plain words: We don’t promise specific numbers.

18. Liability

Our total liability for anything related to your plan is limited to what you paid us in the last month. We’re not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits. You’ll cover us against claims caused by materials you provide (photos, logos, music and text) and by content you approve.

In plain words: Our responsibility is capped at one month of your plan.

19. AI tools

We may use AI tools to edit and to brainstorm, always reviewed by a person. We never use them to invent results, reviews or before-and-after images.

In plain words: AI helps us edit. It never makes up results.

20. When your plan ends

Within 7 days after your plan ends, we remove our access to your accounts, stop anything scheduled after the end date and share a Google Drive folder with the edited content from the months you paid for, available for 30 days.

In plain words: We leave your accounts clean and give you your files.

21. Changes, termination and governing law

We’ll email you at least 30 days before changing your price or these terms; if you keep your plan after that date, the changes apply. We may end your plan with 30 days’ notice, refunding any time you’ve paid for and not used, or right away for non-payment, abuse or unlawful content. These terms are governed by Florida law, and any dispute will be handled in the courts of Palm Beach County, Florida. Questions: [email protected] or (561) 934-9989.

In plain words: We’ll let you know 30 days before any change. Florida law applies.
